Champagne Pommery, established in 1858 in Reims, France, owes much of its legacy to Madame Louise Pommery, who assumed control after her husband's passing in 1860. A visionary in the Champagne industry, she introduced the world's first commercially successful brut Champagne in 1874, catering to the English preference for drier wines. Madame Pommery also transformed Roman-era chalk quarries into an extensive network of cellars, providing optimal conditions for aging Champagne. Today, Pommery continues to honor her innovative spirit, producing elegant and refined Champagnes that reflect a commitment to quality and tradition.
